Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to paid subscription plans ("Starter", "Basic", and "Premium") purchased through AffiniChat. It should be read together with our Terms of Service.
1. Subscription Billing
Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly basis through Stripe, starting on the date you subscribe. Your subscription will automatically renew each month at the then-current price until you cancel.
2. Cancellations
You can cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Billing, or via the Stripe billing portal linked from your account. When you cancel, you will keep access to your plan's features until the end of the billing period you've already paid for. Your plan will then revert to the Free tier and will not be charged again.
3. Refunds
Because AffiniChat provides immediate access to digital features upon payment, subscription charges are generally non-refundable, including for partial billing periods, unused features, or if you forget to cancel before renewal.
We may, at our discretion, issue a full or partial refund in cases such as:
- A duplicate or accidental charge caused by a technical error.
- A billing error where you were charged an incorrect amount.
- An unauthorized charge reported promptly after it occurs.
- A material, prolonged outage of the Service that significantly prevented you from using paid features.
To request a refund, contact us within 7 days of the charge at support@affinichat.com with your account email and the reason for your request. We will review each request individually and respond within a reasonable time.
4. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first so we can resolve it directly. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without contacting us may result in suspension of your account while the dispute is investigated.
5. Price Changes
We may change subscription prices from time to time. If a price change affects your active subscription, we will provide reasonable notice before it takes effect. Continuing to use a paid plan after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.
6. Tokens and Virtual Items
Any virtual tokens, ratings, badges, or similar in-app items have no cash value and are not eligible for refunds or exchange for money.
